Kammeron Frost

  • Kammeron Frost (she/her) is a Boston-based 20-year-old musician studying at the Berklee College of Music. With an outgoing and energetic personality, Kam enjoys different forms of self-expression without the conversations like singing, dancing, painting, etc. Kam’s music does not belong to one specific genre but rather is an amalgamation of urban R&B Hip-hop, alternative, soul, funk, and overall experimental. Her musical inspirations are Jill Scott, Doja Cat, Smino, Kyle Dion, Michael Jackson, SZA, Summer Walker, Tank and the Bangas, and FLO.

For Kammeron, ”[music is a] gift was given to me by God by sharing with others, being in a room with everyone and enjoying what’s happening there - being a community and loving on each other – music is such a big part of that and is so important for musicians to have that energy – fellowship, - bringing people together. A break from the problems of the world and focusing on the moment happening in front of you - I want people to enjoy what I make and have to share, the stories I have to tell.”

DPF

  • DPF aka Dante is an artist based in his bedroom. His long held love of music turned into making hyperpop with friends made on the internet. His songs are built around his evocative lyrics and vocals and brought together by layered, genre blending production. Fans of ericdoa and Midwxst should tune in for tracks that artfully navigate the line between pop and rap, grabbing sounds from r&b and jazz along the way.

“admit it” is a fiery electronic pop anthem that takes inspiration from Dante’s friend 4cf, another member of the online hyperpop music community. In the studio, Dante describes wanting “something you could scream at a concert, in your car, or wherever it may be,” which is precisely what he achieved with the resulting track. Backed by addicting synth rhythms, the song’s lyrics tell a story of transformation and growth after leaving one’s relationship.

Clifford the band

  • Clifford is a twangy, post-rock band emerging from the Boston DIY music scene. The ensemble features Miles on lead vocals and guitar, Nate on bass, Danny on guitar, and Ben on percussion. They released their first full-length project, Projections of a Body Electric, in 2021, followed by the EP Surface Tension in 2022.

Chrysanthemums comes at a turning point in Clifford’s discography. While stylistically closer to the math and emo-inflected content of their 2021 album, Chrysanthemums was co-written by multiple members of the band and is a continuation of the decentralized production style explored on Surface Tension. Both turbulent and intimate, the track's complex rhythms and cascading guitar riffs foreground an emotional vignette of aging, growth, and the complexities of evolving relationships.
