HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE YOU WORKED WITH GREEN LINE RECORDS AND WHAT PROJECTS HAVE YOU RELEASED SINCE THEN?

We worked with Green Line during the first half of 2019. At the time we were already knee-deep in recording a new batch of songs, but Brian (our singer/guitarist) had recently brought a new song to rehearsal that we ended up fleshing out specifically for the Green Line Records release. That song was Master of Reality Revisited. We went into the GLR studio for a day in March 2019 to track it and then the single came out in July.

After the Green Line recording, we started playing a lot of shows and didn’t really take a break until the pandemic hit. That’s when we finally made time to finish the record we’d been sitting on for a while. For the new stuff we wanted to do something different for the release, so we launched a single series last September where each new song had an accompanying music video. It was completely DIY and has been really fun. Thus far the singles we’ve dropped in the series are Evening Standard, PPB, Quoting, Thoreau, and Gates.”

HOW DOES THE PROJECT YOU DID WITH GREEN LINE RECORDS FIT INTO YOUR CURRENT WORK/ DISCOGRAPHY?

“The version of Master of Reality Revisited we did with GLR is one of our faster, louder songs, and we quickly discovered after it came out that it was a highlight in our live set. Our newer material is definitely moodier and more textured, so it differs in that sense from what we've released since. But there’s a tension in the song we’ve been drawing out more through some alternate versions. It would be fun to do something with one of them and release it.”

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE RELEASE FROM THIS PAST YEAR (2020)?

Sean: A Hero’s Death by Fontaines DC, Ultimate Success Today by Protomartyr, Weirdo by Open Hand

Marcos: Ohms by Deftones, Acts of Rebellion by Ela Minus, Inner Song by Kelly Lee Owens

Ryan: Just ghost recordings and cave sounds.

HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE YOU WORKED WITH GREEN LINE RECORDS AND WHAT PROJECTS HAVE YOU RELEASED SINCE THEN?

I worked with Green Line in early 2018 on a single titled "I Have No Time". The following year, in March 2019, I released my most recent full-length LP 'Future Eye'. Since the release of 'Future Eye,' I have released 2 other singles and am currently in the final stages of mixing for my follow-up album.

HOW DOES THE PROJECT YOU DID WITH GREEN LINE RECORDS FIT INTO YOUR CURRENT WORK/ DISCOGRAPHY?

The project with Green Line came at an interesting time in my musical undertakings. Since recording at the studio and having someone else engineering was so different than my usual process, I wanted to take the opportunity to write a song that was also very different from my usual work. The result was certainly unusual but I like to think that it was fairly entrancing as well. It holds a special place in my heart though admittedly doesn't jive particularly well with my other music.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE RELEASE FROM THIS PAST YEAR (2020)?

I always struggle to pick favorites - but - since I'm actually listening to it right now and it RIPS, I want to give a shout-out to Boston artist Blue Ray and the brand new release Explain This. Really really wonderful stuff. It's on their Bandcamp.

HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE YOU WORKED WITH GREEN LINE RECORDS AND WHAT PROJECTS HAVE YOU RELEASED SINCE THEN?

It has been about 3 years since we worked with Green Line. We were about to record our debut full-length right when the pandemic hit, so unfortunately that has been on hold but we are looking forward to releasing our first album as soon as possible.

HOW DOES THE PROJECT YOU DID WITH GREEN LINE RECORDS FIT INTO YOUR CURRENT WORK/ DISCOGRAPHY?

The single we recorded with Green Line is the only recording featuring our current killer line-up with Alyssa Kai on drums and James Walsh on bass!

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE RELEASE FROM THIS PAST YEAR (2020)?

My favorite release from the past year is Jaime Wyatt's Neon Cross.

I think it's been a little over a year now. I think it was the end of 2019. Since then, I've released a full-length project entitled Feel The Aura.

HOW DOES THE PROJECT YOU DID WITH GREEN LINE RECORDS FIT INTO YOUR CURRENT WORK/ DISCOGRAPHY?

The project I was working on with GLR got put on hold. However, many of the photos from my GLR photoshoot has been used in a wide array of promotional content online ranging from virtual events, press coverage, and more.
